  • STUDENT SUPPORT & CAREER GUIDANCE
    • ​Academic Mentorship: Senior faculty members often guide students in their academic progress, provide advice on research, and offer career counselling.
    • PG and Career Guidance: Specialized sessions or workshops are conducted to help students prepare for postgraduate entrance exams, internships, and careers in medicine.
    • Mentor-mentee programme: The mentor-mentee program was launched in ABVIMS in the year 2023 encompassing the ongoing MBBS batches. A great initiative in the college which is a great way to provide students with guidance as they navigate the challenging and intense journey of medical education. This kind of program pairs experienced medical professionals (like senior students, residents, or faculty) with junior students to offer advice, emotional support, and career guidance.
    • Gatekeeper's training: This is for Suicide Prevention and aims to build a network of “gatekeepers” and equip them with the knowledge and skills to identify and provide timely help to suicidal persons.

      2. Smoking on the campus
      3. Ragging
      4. Sexual Harassment
      5. Storing, possessing or using real or replica firearms or other weapons, explosives (including fireworks), ammunition, drugs, or toxic or otherwise dangerous materials on Institute premises.
      6. Stealing, misusing, destroying, defacing or damaging institution property or property belonging to someone else.
      7. Unauthorized use of any Institution facilities, equipment, services or computers. This includes theft or abuse of Institution computers and other electronic resources
      8. Any act of discrimination (physical or verbal conduct) based on an individual's gender, caste, race, religion or religious beliefs, skin color, region, language, sexual orientation, marital or family status, physical or mental disability, etc.
      9. Refusal to produce  the identity card issued by the Institution on demand by campus security.
      10. Physical assault, threats of violence, which includes any disruptive activity in a classroom or in an event sponsored by the Institution. 
      11. Organizing meetings and processions without permission from the Institution authorities.
      12. Accepting membership of religious or terrorist groups banned by the Government of India/Law Enforcement Agencies.
      13. Parking a vehicle in a no parking zone or an area earmarked for parking other types of vehicles
      14. Not disclosing a pre-existing health condition, either physical or psychological, to the Chief Medical Officer which may cause hindrance to the academic progress.
      15. Altercations of any kind between students or student groups will be taken seriously as a violation of the code and will be dealt with accordingly.
