The department of  Paediatric and neonatal surgery  is  providing following services. Namely

1. Patient Care-  We are doing all kind of Paediatric surgeries like surgeries for congenital malformation (Tracheo – esophageal fistula, Intestinal atresias, Malrotation , Anorectal malformations etc) for the neonates. For children we are regularly doing all kind of surgeries like Surgeries for Hirschprung’s  disease, Hypospadias, Shunt surgeries for  Portal Hypertension, Esophageal replacement surgeries and Complex reconstructive and re-do urological surgeries. We have started doing EXIT procedure and all surgeries for childhood solid malignancies. We are actively treating and doing surgeries for Paediatric Trauma. Our emergency services are running 24x7 for patient care and emergency surgeries.  Soon we will be doing Liver transplant for paediatric patients in collaboration with our own Hospital transplant team.
   
   We have a dedicated paediatric surgery  ward with facilities like monitors  & other bed side equipments. Our HDU is equipped with Ventilators and all modern facilities for the neonates.
    
2. Academics – We have MCh course running with recognized  five(5) seats per year.
    
3. Research-  department is carrying out several research projects intra mural as well as extra mural in nature.
    
4. Community Participation – Every year we spend time for community activities  in terms of educating common people . schools , orphan houses and distal remote medical camps for common people.
