Department is actively providing state of the art ophthalmic services to around 300 patients per day with sub-specialty clinic in specialty of retina, cornea, oculoplastic, glaucoma, neuro-ophthalmology and low vision.
Department has state of the art ophthalmic operation theatre equipped with latest ophthalmic microscopes, phacoemulsification machines, glaucoma surgical devices, vitreo-retinal surgical machine, corneal transplant and lamellar keratoplasty procedures and ophthalmic lasers with central goal to reduce morbidity due to preventable blindness. The department is humbled to provide services like Visual field analysis, Ocular coherence tomography, Fundus photography, Ocular ultrasound, YAG capsulotomy and retinal laser device to name a few. Recently the department has acquired IOL Master 700 to proceed towards better refractive outcomes
