Nursing Home at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia hospital, is an unique one amongst all the available Nursing Homes in Government Hospital .
It has two components
1) Medical Nursing Home . 2) Maternity Nursing Home.
Maternity Nursing Home is managed by Gynecologists headed by Dr.(Mrs) Puspa singh , Senior Specialist, in Gynecology with three units of Gynecology Department .
The Medical Nursing Home is managed by a totally dedicated static Medical Unit No. 7 headed by Dr. A.K.Gadpayle, Consultant in Medicine ,Department of Medicine. Medical Nursing Home is catering Medical Services to VVIP, VIPs, Members of Parliaments, Ex Members of parliaments, supreme court, High court judges and dependents ,Central Government Health Services (CGHS)beneficiaries which includes Senior Beaurocrats, and other officers who are entitled to the Nursing Home as per Govt. norms. Nursing home is having 50 beds out of which 12 beds are deluxe one having all medical facilities including central suction, oxygen, monitoring, and call bell facilities. All beds are air conditioned. Medical manpower is available 24 hrs physically in Nursing home. 30 beds are kept for medical illness and 20 beds are kept for surgery , pediatric etc department.

Newly developed Medical I.C.U
8 bedded Medical ICU is coming up and will be functional in a month or two. It has all facilities like bed side monitors having all parameters like pulse, blood pressure, respiration,Spo2, Co2, arterial B.P., ABG. It has central station Monitoring system along with two baby monitors in the rooms of specialist who can access the parameters of the desired patient as and when required. A provision of telemetry is also kept keeping in view of changing scenario by which a specialist can have easy access to the patients parameter as and when required from his home or place where he is through internet. Central suction, oxygen and bed head paneling is also planned. A comfort zone for patient’s relatives is also provided. They can see their patient on CCTV in attendant’s room very easily on demand and look for activities. A cafeteria is planned for patient’s relatives. A well designed Nursing station is planned for Nursing Home which will be manned by trained Nursing staffs.
